Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother’s Day mom!!! I love you and hope you have a wonderful day. This is for you :)

Church was so much fun because the program was the exact same as Mother’s Day programs back home. Everyone got up and talked about how much they appreciate their mothers and then the primary children got up and sang some Mother’s Day Songs. It was absolutely adorable. And they also handed out flowers to all the mothers (and us). So apparently it's all universal within the church ha ha (This picture is of Kris, my professor. We all gave our Mother's Day flowers that we got from the kids to her).

Buuuuut the difference was that I couldn’t understand a word of any of it. But it’s all good. Luckily we only go to an hour of it because I really don’t think I could handle all three hours of church without understanding anything Ha ha Afterwards this adorable man invited us to his house for dinner next week. I’m really excited for it.

Now today is just a chill day for getting things done because it’s WAY too hot outside to do anything. It’s by far the hottest so far. After church we went out for lunch and we were drenched in sweat when we got back. Not an exaggeration. I can’t wait to be at the beach next week!

This evening we went to a delicious buffet! I was in heaven…surrounded by tons and tons of asian food. It was different though because you had to order one big thing (I ordered salmon..yum) and then you went to get the stuff you wanted at the buffet. Also at the buffet things you had to cook a lot of the stuff yourself (they had little grills and steamers and you just added whatever you wanted) It was so delicious! We were completely satisfied once we were done…..especially Jim.
